Alert! November 29 is your deadline to file

A reminder to Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) recipients who have not filed their 2019 income tax

GIS recipients who have not already filed their 2019 income tax information should contact Service Canada by calling 1-800-277-9914 and provide their income information over the phone. Service Canada will need to have received and processed seniors’ income information by November 29, 2020, to prevent an interruption in benefits in January 2021.
