December 28, 2009 Improving pensions for working families
Improving pensions for working families is the goal of a major campaign launched by the Canadian Labour Congress. On Dec. 28, Lynda Zorn (right), BC FORUM delegate to the North Okanagan Labour Council, and Cheryl Stone, also of the NOLC, met with Ron Cannan, MP Kelowna Lake Country, to discuss the need for better, more secure pensions, especially for young people who are likely to work for several employers during their careers.
